Ordered two Springfield XDS 45acp 7 round single stack mags. One worked as advertised. One would not lock in. After some troubleshooting found that Mag extension adapter that slides over the mag (to give a longer grip) was Impedeing the proper position of the Mag. Extension adapter was too long. After 90 minutes with a file was able to shorten the adapter to the same length of the adapter from the mag that fit properly. Problem solved. These mags need better quality assurance.

Tested with snap caps to ensure they cycled, then later with live ammo. Everything worked as expected, nice finish too!

Will not purchase this magazine again
Purchased with hope I would have same luck as previous reviewers. But both caused jams and FTEs with use. After lots of work was able to finally get one to work at times. Used several brands of 45 caliper ammo and had issues with all trying to feed the XDs Springfield. Should have just stayed with the 6 original equipment magazines. Just wanted to be able to fire more at a time before changing magazines.

This is more of a range m
This is more of a range mag than an EDC mag. The very first time I used it would not cycle the gun. I ejected the mag tapping it trying to make sure it was seated and still no good. Put the six round though and no issues. Swapped back and it has ran fine since then. For the price they mag good range magazines. I would not trust it for everyday use though. For the money buy a couple for the range but leave your Springfield ones for carry.
