Over the top but who cares!
Looks good, fits good, not the easiest to load but with a loader it’s not bad, and might get another one.

Great mag. Solid construction. Fits my xd subcompact perfectly.

No issues at all! Get the black sleeve (XDG5003) also.
Great for situations where one might like to have pew x 32. Burned 64 rounds right away without ant issue loading or feeding. You should also get the sleeve that fits the 16 round mag because it fits tight with the included spacer.

I would not buy this mag again.
Never worked, never fired 32 consecutive rounds, the spring felt weak as soon as I started loading it the first time.

Extended mags are Useful
I love this mag because it is cool and very useful for the price. It doubles the size of the standard magazine. I hate reloading all the time, so I use this and it doesn't get in the way of my grip. Pros: Less Reloads

4 stars since it came with a few scratches... Hopefully no one makes the same mistake I did

I bought one and was so impressed that I ordered another one
I got mine on Monday and went to the range, had zero problems so far, only thing that was less than stellar was the fact that I don't have an ez loader so the last few rounds I put in were kinda tough to get in. Overall it works well and I would recommend it!!

I bought two for range us
I bought two for range use, then three more before 'the election', expecting the worst. I am happy beyond belief. I have shot 10 cycles through each without a failure. I shoot 9mm 147 grain range and defense. Under powered reloads may hang in my 5'XD but that is ammo and not magazine related. When I took my brother and Nephew out to shoot, they LOVED it when I pulled out my 32 round pre-loaded mags and chambered for them to blast away. I carry two as back up, and am buying more. Good Stuff!

I can cram 35 rounds into it, I've stored it loaded to 30 for months at a time without any failures, and it runs flawlessly in both my XD subcompact and tactical. Great range mag.

For the Money couldn't as
For the Money couldn't ask for a better product. No filing or Macguyver-ing necessary to fit into my XD9 Tactical. No feeding issues as of yet at the range either. The only reason I give 4 bullets instead of 5 is the slight wiggle when the mag is locked in place. I suppose I'd rather have that then a mag that is too big to fit in the mag well. Also, the rounds aren't snug in the magazine, allowing them to rattle around. Again, not a huge problem, and it's better a slight rattle than too snug. Just so you know beforehand, there is no available sleeve to fit on the mag, and if you have large hands like me you will miss the small lip on the flush fitting mag that gives a little extra purchase for your pinky.

This mag is an absolute must for target range, especially if you use the adaptive carbine platform for your pistol. The capacity is just mind blowing, and after 300 rounds not a single problem. Excellent product, highly recommended.

The mag feeds just fine. It just doesn't fit the gun well. If you have a dremel and some skill you can modify it to work perfectly. took me all of 5 min to get it to fit right.

Ordered this for my XDM 9 mm 4.25. fits in very snug and even locks back the slide after the last shot, most extended mags do not do this... very well-built. I also found it holds 35 rounds, another plus.

Purchased this mag for my XD subcompact and it fits just fine. Seems to be a very well built mag and worked perfectly at the range. Will be buying another one very soon. Would recommend getting a speed loader as well.

Great product. Fits well and if you have the mag extension slip covers and a sub compact, they will fit and make handling these much easier!

Bought for my XDM-9. At first there seemed to be some fitment issues with the empty mag not seating tightly, but after 150+ rounds through i have no more complaint about the fit. My only problem to report is that when the last round is fired the slide doesn't lock in the open position. To verify that this wasn't the gun malfunctioning I ran my factory mag 10 times each with 5 rounds and last-round hold-open worked just fine. MADE IN USA! It actually will easily hold 35 rounds I discovered on accident, I only did this once. Overall, very happy with it and ordered a second.

I heard different reviews
I heard different reviews on Promag magazines. It totally depends on what firearm they are supporting. This mag for XD9 holds 35 rounds and w/no problems feeds the machine. I like the look of solid black; a change to the XD look for me. The performance and stealthy look are worth that money. In stores these will sell for 35. So...I bought 2 here. Great deal, CheaperThanDirt. well done.

I think it looks awesome, a real crowd favorite at the range. Ctd shipped quickly and it was cheap! No malfunctions! Can't beat that..

Bought 2 of these a while
Bought 2 of these a while ago for my XD9 4', just got the chance to try one out. Only ran about 100 rounds through it, but it worked GREAT. No jams, even in near rapid fire. Looks sick hanging out the bottom of the gun too. The only beef I have with 'm is that there is no counting holes in them. They will fit more than 32 rounds, but 32 is more than enough for me. Seems like it's hit or miss with batches. Someone said something about the plastic followers, but as far as i know almost all pistol mags have plastic/composite followers.
April 15, 2011
The follower has a tenden
The follower has a tendency to tilt, not manufactured as no-tilt like most quality factory magazines. This would be why so many users have jam problems, but I didn't notice until about the fourth loading and others may never experience the follower tilt jam malfunction but if you want to scrap a factory mag to put its follower in this mag it would be flawless.

I recieved mine today. While I've only ran 64 rounds through this mag so far it functioned smoothly through both slow and rapid fire. I understand this isn't much of a function test, but in light of recent events hi-cap mags will probably be tough to find so I'm reviewing early to help people out. For the price you can't beat it. A well-made, hi-cap mag and it looks pretty slick to boot.Only gave 4 bullets as it could malfunction down the road but so far it was definitely money well spent.

Bought this mag awhile ago just for fun, took it to the range and it jammed about every 3-4 rds. everytime. Wish I hadn't bought it.

I brought this mag, and m
I brought this mag, and mine too was shipped in a package, but it had bubble wrap lining. Important! the mag states that it holds 32 rounds but it can actually hold a lot more, to my estimation possible about 48 or more. I easily over filled my mag without even noticing as there is no indicator telling you how much you have stuffed in there. With my experience the magazine performs great with 38. It maybe possible that 'some' of the people who have experienced problems have overfilled the mag. I can see how it would jam being that the tension on the bullet at the top of the mag makes the bullet kind of stick. Hand gun mags are not really designed to hold such a high capacity of rounds to begin with. Although the mag works just fine after a good amount of usage i would not trust it with my life, more for show and fun.

I bought one on a whim and with the pending legislation I thought 'do it while you can.' The service was great, the product performs fine. I have put a hundred rounds or so with maybe one FTF. Since this is essentially for plinking and a conversation piece, it is fine. As previously stated, this is not for CCW or anything serious, but for the price, it delivers and is fun, no more, no less. If you have a few buck laying around, worth the purchase in my opinion.

Don't waste your money on
Don't waste your money on these mags, I cleaned my gun very well, then bought one of these mags just to see if it worked, and it failed terribly. It jammed every 2 shots, and the spring is not strong enough to fire the bullets, so It pinches the bullet in the chamber. I would consider this a 'Highly Dangerous Magazine'I'll be sticking with the nice 16 round clips.
November 29, 2008
Bought one just to take t
Bought one just to take to the range. Turned out its more trouble than just switching mags, since it jams every 3-5 rounds. The spring is too weak and the follower tilts and causes HP rounds to nosedive before the feed ramp. The follower is also really soft plastic and looks really chewed up after only 4 uses. I have thousands of rounds thru the factory mags with no problems. Only positive is that it looks impressive hanging out of your grip and people want one when they see it.

I bought one of these to have just for fun. I’ve put about 100 rounds through it so far and only had three jams. It’s probably worth having one or two of these mags for fun, but I’d stick to factory 16 round mags for anything serious.

This mag was actually purchase for me as a birthday gift and has since had a couple hundred rounds through it without a single hitch. People just need to understand that Promag is hit/miss for most people. Mine was a definite 'hit' and I will purchase 2-3 more in the near future for fun =)
June 11, 2008
So the reviews were mostl
So the reviews were mostly good, and I said what the heck. It would be fun to pop off 32 rounds without switching mags. The moral here...Just buy 16 rounders & switch. This thing notoriously dips the nose of the round, so there are jams about every 5 rounds. It worked alright the first time at the range. 2 sets of rounds only 1 jam. Second time...2 sets of rounds and 5 jams. Meanwhile my 4 factory mags went through 2 sets each without a hicccup. I am keeping this because it is too late for return, but not a big fan. I may try to disassemble and work on it. The spring system seems shaky. Not worth your money. Buy the good ones!

i ordered this mag becaus
i ordered this mag because i could, it felt a little sketchy but fed reliably and fired fine in my service 9. not very practical for really anything but it is kinda fun when you are shooting. i recommend it to anyone that wants a fun hi cap mag for shooting.

I just bought one. It jam
I just bought one. It jammed two times on three clips. It could be the WOLF ammo but my factory 10 rnd clips didn't jam at all with the same ammo. If you shoot slow and don't rapid fire it doesn't jam.

I have one of these mags, and it functions flawlessly every time! I shot with it today in fact. Come to think of it neither one of my 9mm XD pistols has ever had any stoppages or malfunctions with any mags or ammo. I also have a 15 rd mag by promag and have fired about 700 rounds through it w no problem, the follower is starting to get a bit worn but still feeds fine. ProMag makes a fine product as far as I am concerned. A great value for the price!
