Good and bad.
I have both Promag and Pearce grip extenders for my XD. The Promag doesn't fit as smoothly with the grip on the gun. Front corners both extend beyond the pistol grip. I don't care for the lack of texturing. The Pearce grips fit much better with the gun's grips. Promag is very slightly longer and is a plus3 whereas the Pearce is only a plus1. I don't think I would buy the Promags in the future.

I LOVE IT... I'M GONNA BUY MORE!
I love this product. It's advertised as a +4 for a 9mm, but I was able to get +5. So now my 16 round mag is a 21 round mag. As soon as I get more mags I'm getting more extensions. In the words of Philip J. Fry "Shut up and take my money!"

For the price, it's a good extension
The price is low and they work great. However, you may need to do a bit of enhancement. I'm running a unlimited match magwell and the forward corners of the extension we're such that they bumped into the magwell just enough to keep the catch from locking into the mag. So, Dremel and sandpaper and about 5 mins work and they fit crisp and easy now. Also, there is nose screws or anything keeping the base plate on. Just a friction lock type set up. I added a couple of drops of high strength epoxy to the inner track of mine before install. Just for added security. Have shot with it twice now and not a wiggle. I'm buying 4 more asap. Or, you can buy a Taran Tactical or whatever for much more and never have to worry about all this. That's up to you. Me? A little elbow grease to save a dime is just the way I am.

Possibly buy it again
Its fitment is great however with my 40cal it creates real bad coil bind in the feed spring getting the extra 3 rounds in is virtually impossible without the loader. Even then it almost feels like i need a different length spring. Other than that it looks and feels great

Will it work with xds models?
Answer:
This mag extension is for the double stack XD magazines. It will not fit the single stack XDS magazines.
I added the extension to my mag and only gpt 1 extra round in what could be the problem?
Answer:
That is fairly typical with 40, but perhaps you could take it back apart and reassemble it. Also sometimes loading it as far as you can and letting it set overnight helps to add a new round.
Will this fit on the xd 40 pro mag extended magazine?
Answer:
No, it is designed for Springfield factory magazines only.
Will this work on the XD9 5 inch tactical model AND do I need an extended mag spring too?
Answer:
Yes it will fit the 5" XD. No you do not need an additional spring.
Will this fit a xd mod 2.0?
Answer:
Yes, it will. There was no magazine change in the Mod 2.0
Will this work on xdm 9 mags?
Answer:
No, it is only for the XD magazines.
