Best mags I can find especially at the price. They're a little dry when you get them so you may need just a hint of lubricating oil to free them up properly other than that they're great

Well it loads nice, no issues on cycling when firing. It seems to fit tight, When I shoot, it work fine,,,,The Issue I do not like, is a small tap on the mag, and out it comes... dont need to hit the release, just a light tap on the mag and out it comes....

Unfortunately they don’t fit right. I knew better but gave them another chance. When they arrived and didn’t fit right, I ordered 4 factory Springfield Mags at 3x the price, but I KNOW they will work.

Do not buy. Total junk.
Very poorly designed. They only hold 19 bullets, the 20th round will pop right out on its own. Don't waste your money, just get the good metal ones they are 1000% more reliable.

Fixable !
I find these mags to be hit and miss for reliability, in my Socom 16 ,some are high on the left shoulder and will lock back the bolt even with rounds in the mag,, I file down the left rear corner slightly so the bolt hold open catch is not engaged by the corner of the mag and it seems to work fine. Pros: price. Cons: as is, unreliable.

Mine jam between the 3rd and 11th rounds everytime. Spend the extra and get Circle K's. You get what you pay for I guess. Pros: They are cheap and 20 rounds Cons: Jam, jam, jam!

Okay, most of these comments are for different guns altogether so I guess no one knows how to select the proper gun magazine to review. ANYWAYS, the 2 magazines for THE M1A by promag that my wife got me as a gift work just as good as the expensive SA mags that came with the rifle. I even had them loaded for 2 years in storage and took them out a while back and guess what? They still work just as good as the factory mags. So if you want a good budget magazine for your M1A this item is a good buy.

Very disappointed
I've had very good experiences with other ProMag products but these magazines are pure junk. I bought two to round out the number of magazines I have to an even dozen. They are very difficult to lock into my M1A and difficult to eject. If you're in the market for M1A magazines, find something other than these.

I recently purchased 3 of
I recently purchased 3 of these mags for my Fulton Armory MK14 EBR MOD 0. upon inserting the mag into the mag well i noticed that the mag was not completely square and thus was too long to lock into place. I was able to get the mag to fit by flattening the seam where the mag was spot welded together. Doing so however, caused the sides to bow some. On top of that the mag still fits poorly. I am going to return the unmodified mags.

I bought two of these in addition to two 8 dollar magazines, as I wanted to see which performed better before purchasing more.I will definitely be buying more of these this very soon.They have very low machining tolerances for the price, which means they fit very tightly inside of my M1A. However, after just a little bit of wear, they function exactly as intended. The spring was stiff for the first 10 rounds but after a bit of oil and working, they fit 20 rounds easy.Only downside: the black coating (whatever it is) will rub off on your hands or whatever when you first open the box. Just take a rag or paper towel and give them a quick scrub, then they are fine.These magazines haven't jammed on me yet though, which is what I care about.

CTD delivered quickly, even before their 5 day deadline, it was more like 2 1/2 days, if that. Only one issue with one mag: a small sliver of metal on the mag catch, which makes it not catch on the rifles retaining clip. A file and a little TLC and its good now. Very solid mag for my m14, thanks ProMag and CTD.

Purchased five of these mags. Received them and they look great in new packaging. All of the mags seat, cycle, and lock the bolt back perfectly in my SOCOM 16 mounted in a Sage EBR Mod 0 stock. I will be ordering more.
