Clean the spring!
Everyone is right. The springs do jam! The entire guts need to be taken out. There is some sort of oil saturated on the internals. Once you clean that junk off these magazines function flawless. For some reason it does not accept .357 sig AT ALL. I once managed to get a round in there and it would not feed. So a no go for that. Which is a bummer. Just remember, CLEAN THE SPRING! Will not work otherwise.

Junk
Junk magazine. Spring binds up and locks up. Can't load more than 5 or 6 rounds into it. Save your money these are junk.

Impressed
I have been waiting for a higher capacity magazine for my Shield .40 S&W and I am very happy with the promag 9 rounder!

Works but doesn’t match the gun
I bought 2 of these and we’re not pleased with the look of them. The stippling doesn’t match the gun and is very rough to the touch

When loaded with all nine rounds, the magazine will not click home unless the slide is back. I’m assuming because the spring tension is insanely high. Almost impossible to get all nine rounds loaded

I bought it for my daughters pistol. And we both agree. They compliment each other very well. I thought it might stick out the bottom too far. But it actually looks really nice ! ?

Ok but not the best
Sticks a bit compared to a factory one.

Ask not what mag can do for you
Take it apart, 800grit sandpaper ALL sharp corners and edges on the mag itself and the plastic follower, wipe it all down, put it back together neatly and voilà youre 26$ mag works like a charm. All mine do

Total garbage!!!
Mag wouldn’t take but 4 rounds and then lock up and when you try to take out the bullets the spring is still stuck in the bottom. When I unhinged the spring it almost blew out of the clip. Total junk.

Sucks
The spring in the magazine keeps binding up and the rounds do not advance properly.

Horrible product! DOES NOT WORK
This is the most useless, horrible magazine ever made. I genuinely can't understand how any company would think this product was fit for the market. DO NOT buy this absolute piece of junk. It has never once succeeded in feeding all 9 rounds into my gun. Usually only feeds 1 or 2 before jamming.

I would not buy this
Mag doesn't work . Won't load a new round into the gun. They get jammed in the mag and you have to pry them out

Don't waste your money
This is a piece of junk! It didn't last 5 or 6 rounds before the spring assembly gave. This happens frequently. Cons: Weak spring that prevents the mag from working

Sadly waste of money and time
Only reason it has one star is b/c you have to leave one in order to review! Sadly I have bought a pair of these! I have returned them twice for replacement! I have had to pay twice to ship them back! EVERY Time I have gone to the range with these fresh out of the package, they fail! They need to put in a better spring! I have been waiting since May for the third set of so called "tested" replacements. Lifetime warranty does not mean squat, if you have to return them each and every time you try to use them! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!! Magepull or anyone else needs to come out with these! PLEASE!!!

I would NOT buy again
The first time I loaded it, and then went to fire the rounds, the first round stove piped and the rest didn't follow as the spring was stuck. After beating it, they finally popped up and stove piped jam on 2nd loading. Finally worked when down to 6 rounds. Pros: Holds 9 rounds Cons: The spring sticks so it is totally worthless

Yes buying another 1 right now
I love the black steel really make my gun look complete . I read a few reviews about people not being able to load the whole mag. Mine loaded all of them . The 9th one was a little hard to get in but it was not a problem. Love it so far.. Pros: Fits better than factory mags and looks better

Do not waste your money...
It never chambers the last round: it jams a lot, the spring is bent on the inside, and the metal part that holds the bullets from the pressure of the spring pops out and gets stuck. Pros: Works for 7 shots Cons: Cannot finish a mag.

I have to join the choir
As mentioned by others it does not feed well, but neither do the stock magazines. these seem to malfunction more than the stock mags as they malfunction even when racking the gun by hand. I may have fixed it by filing the inside of the lips to make it wider. both these and S&W magazines are exactly the same as 9MM magazines except for the round count holes. I will try the out soon to see if the fix works. Pros: capacpacity Cons: it does not function well as received

Waste of money!
I bought this item and it worked for the first 3 bullets. The spring doesn't push the bullets up to feed into my gun. Don't waste your time or money. I would love a refund.

I bought two. Nothing but a pain. Consistently jams. Without fail it will jam on the first 2 to 3 shells. A huge waste of money.

Thought this would be the answer to the small mags the are in the Shield. WRONG 2 rounds in and follower tilted down in front. Took apart removed rounds, cleaned and oiled, Baristol, interior, dried re-assembled. 3 rounds front tilted down again. Next stop garbage pail. Not even worth returning. Garbage period

I purchased one of theses
I purchased one of theses and had very high hopes, unfortunately it failed to perform and with every round except with the last one or two. From what I was able to see was the clip was not holding the bullet at the proper angle to travel into the chamber and thus causing it to jam.

I too am experiencing mag
I too am experiencing mag jams. The first five or more loadings fed as expected...I am now experiencing cartridges that fail to move up (binding). Extra cleaning and oiling of the mag doesn't seem to change anything....is the spring losing its strength. I bought these mags for range use so unreliability is not a life or death situation, just a major bother. Something needs to be done at ProMag to correct this issue

I would rate this magazine a zero star if I could. The rounds do feed into the gun properly, causing gun to jam. What a waste of money.

Very disappointed in this
Very disappointed in this product. I purchased 5 of these for my CCW reqaulifying class. Out of these 5 . 4 jammed the the gun continuely. The instructor even recommended for me to throw them in the trash. I definitely will not use these magazines again.

I have to say that these
I have to say that these particular magazines are the worst pieces of equipment that I have ever experienced from a reputable company, by the time I got the fourth or fifth round into the mag I could hear the grinding and binding of my bullets trying to squeeze into a place too tight to fit. Needless to say I was unable to use these mags. They need more design work from the factory, I gave one star but a mag that doesn't work should have zero stars, proceed with caution.

Was excited when this arrived, opened it up and broke it down right off the bat to clean it and dry lube it. Ran a set of snap caps through it a couple of times to make sure everything would feed and cycle properly - so far so good. Went to the range and was not able to run through a full magazine without multiple miss feeds. After breaking down and reassembly of magazine I tried it again. More miss feeds. Went back to the factory 6 & 7 round magazines. ZERO issues after using factory magazine

I've tried to use this mag a few times. I oiled it, and cleaned it. I have yet to be able to get one fully loaded mag to fire all 9 rounds without a miss feed. So, use this in your weapon if you want your spouse to be rich and carry it to the range if you have a lot of time to pry cases out.
