Purchased 2, 5 round mags on February 21, 2023. Worked fine when new. Used in March 2024 and neither mag would feed after the first chambered round. I wasn't sure of the problem until I tried another well known 5 round mag and I had no further problems with the feed issue. Not sure if my result was a fluke, just my experience.

I like it. When the law says you can't have more than 5 round clip, to go deer hunting, here it is.

Stick with the ProMag
Bought this magazine and the metal 2-MGPMRM-5 for a Springfield Saint. Wasn’t sure which would work better for hunting coyotes, as I was worried about the plastic holding up. The ProMag loaded easily and worked well in the gun. The metal magazine did not load easily nor was the gun able to cycle properly (spring too stiff). Also, the bullets were marred as a result of trying to manually cycle the through the loaded magazine. Sticking with ProMag moving forward. It seems to be working very well.

Needed some 5 rnd mags to comply with state requirements for hunting they work great and chamber flawless. Going to order some more very impressed with the quality

Can’t beat it with a sore thumb.
