Great Mag For 45ACP AR-15 Conversions
I had read reviews that these mags performed poorly in H&K carbines, but I wanted it for an AR-15 45ACP build. Several reviews said it worked well with AR conversion blocks that fit in the magwell for pistol caliber guns. I was using an MVB Industries adapter and they recommend the Promag magazine. These worked fine in my AR 45. They are a little harder to load, but I can get 20 rounds in one no problem. I also have the 10 round version and it works fine too. I think these work with the conversion blocks because the blocks were developed using these mags.

Doesn't Feed
I saw low to mixed reviews for this 20rnd USC magazine, but since it's the only one I could find I gave it a try. CTD were kind enough to refund my purchase after it failed at the range. It looks like it would feed when you hold it up to the factory mags. It does not.

Very unimpressed. Very ha
Very unimpressed. Very hard to load to capacity. When fully loaded (20 rounds) it vomits the first 3-4 shells in the magazine out if you insert it into the magwell with the bolt open which indicates weak feed lips. The polymer feedlips are reinforced, but it appears to be either aluminum or a soft steel and does absolutly no good. These work O.K. if you only load 15 rounds, but I bought a 20 round magazine so I expect it to function as such. Do not waste your money on these promag crapsicles. Maybe HK will make a 15 or 20 rounder for the USC some day, until then use the factory 10 rounders and change mags often.
