Does work WITH modifications to the magazine
So the mag will work for the Enfield Mk3 with some modifications, I'm not sure if there is a lot of verification between these rifles but if you have a Dremel, cold blue, and some time you can modify them to fit perfectly.I had to sand the outside edges of the mag slightly (maybe .001-.003 thousands of an inch tops) to allow clearance into the factory mag well. It appears these are stamped from 16 gauge steel so taking a few thousands should be fine (.063 thickness starting) .Next I needed to cut the guide tab down to fit the trigger guide groove (honestly probably not what that is called) but these mags come with a much wider tab than the original magazines so cut to match that. Then just cold blue the exposed steel, wish I could have done a better job with mine but it's functional so I can't complain.Overall if your in need of an extra mag or two for these old rifles and don't mind modifying these mags (which at 22 bucks I certainly don't haha) they will work for the mk3.I hope this helps because there is a lot of confusion on weather they fit or not and technically they don't out of the box. But I will include some photos to give a better idea of what is going on (For reference, original mk3 mag on the left and modified promag on he right). Hope it helps.

Stay away, does not fit no1 mk3
I ordered this hoping for an extra mag for my enfield. Was going to get 3 but played it safe and only got one, glad I did. Markings on the product box says it's meant for a no1 mk3 but the mag does not fit

I have had Enfield rifles
I have had Enfield rifles for many, many years and this is the first aftermarket mag that I have ever purchased for them. I am not disappointed! Wow, this fits great, looks good, and I am just waiting on a day to put some rounds through it. I would recommend it to anyone and will probably buy another one!
