ProMag has made their mark on the industry through a vast product line of magazines, parts, and accessories used by sportsmen throughout the country. Perfect for range use, this aftermarket Desert Eagle mag holds 8 rounds of .44 Magnum. While it's an excellent choice for budget minded shooters, its sturdy steel body has been heat treated and black oxide coated to meet the demands of intense training. ProMag also made sure it was capable of long term performance with an injection molded polymer follower and heat treated chrome silicon spring. Factory mags are great, but they can be cost prohibitive. Throw a couple spare ProMags in your range bag so your Desert Eagle is ready for the next shooting session. They also include a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects so you can train with confidence.

Waste of money.
Ordered two mags. Could only get 4 rounds of 8 into each one. Ammo will not feed properly into the gun.

Everyone Has This wrong
The magazine has very tight specs and may seem like it only goes in halfway. Actually it fite better than the original. The original has a gap at the bottom that if pushed up on the gun will not cycle correctly. The ProMag has a baseplate that fully matches the gun. I reccomend lubing the magazine with a small amout of gun grease and when placing it in the mag well push it up until it catches. This is where you see the comments it only goes this far, Now give it a good slap and it lock perfectly in place.

Will not buy again
Both magazines would only slide in about half way. You have to depress the magazine release in order to seat the magazine. Bad engineering, manufacturing and/or quality control or all three.

Two out of three mags fit perfectly...the third not so much!
Ordered three magazines for greater flexibility at the range. Two magazines fit perfectly but the third magazine would only slide in a little over half way before wedging tight. After pulling the magazine out I applied WD40 to both components but this really did not help very much. On the bright side at least the other two magazines worked as advertised.

Did not fit mag well.Coul
Did not fit mag well.Couldn't even insert it. Removed metal on magazine to get it to fit. (sand paper). Hard on brass. Jammed after a couple of rounds. Buy factory and be happy. Should have sent back, but I guess I thought I could make it work and I did, kinda. I have had Pro mags before that worked well, but this was a lemon.

You cant beat the price ! Feels very solidly made and I have never had a problem with a ProMag magazine. I only put great so far because I have not fired it yet.
