Pro-Shot Cleaning Rods are manufactured with American Made exclusive spec Stainless Steel that have a proprietary mirrorlike jeweled finish that is made to not pick up grit or dirt in the barrel. A Pro-Shot rod is more dense and hardened due to added steps in our rod manufacturing processes but is still slightly less hard than barrel steel.
