The Primary Weapons System CQB Flash Suppressing Compensator was designed to meet the needs of SWAT operators and dynamic entry teams using short barreled rifles. Typical muzzle compensators create too much overpressure. The CQB solves the problem by projecting the blast forward to limit the concussion felt by the team, while increasing rifle control. Primary Weapon Systems also removed material everywhere they could without damaging functionality, making the CQB very light weight.

will it work on a 16in barrel? it says desgined for short barrel

It was designed for a short barrel, however, this is compatible with barrels with 5/8-24 threading and 30 caliber or smaller diameter bore.
Will this be damaged by a 6.5 creedmoor round? I only ask cause it has alot more pressure behind it then a. 308.
