Have a question about this?

This will be displayed next to your question.

Can this be used as a home defense round?
Answer: It could. But you may want to take a look at any number of .223 Rem hunting rounds to reduce the risk of over penetration.
Bullet Ballistic Coefficient: .243 I HAVE A RUGER .243 will these fit 7 fire?
Answer: No this ammunition is 5.56 NATO and this is not compatible with firearms chambered in .243 Winchester. If your firearm is chambered in .243 Winchester, then check out the options we have in stock through the website below. https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ammunition/rifle-ammo/?fq=CALIBER:.243+Winchester
Can this be used for a daniel defence ddmv4?
Answer: If your rifle is chambered in 5.56mm NATO, than yes this ammo will work.
I'm new to the 223. Is 556 the same or what?
Answer: .223 Remington is the commercial version of 5.56 NATO. The are some slight variations in the dimensions, however for all effective purposes the physical dimensions are nearly identical. The biggest difference is in the pressures generated inside the chamber and barrel when the cartridge is fired. .223 Remington has far less pressure than 5.56 NATO. This means that you should never use 5.56 NATO in a barrel with a chamber designated as a .223 Rem only. However you can fire both .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO out of a barrel with a 5.56 NATO designated chamber.
