This X-TAC 5.56 NATO penetrator ammo contains the M855 bullet, which is a steel-tipped lead core bullet. This 5.56 round pierces deeply and deforms less on impact than standard FMJ rounds, while also providing increased stability and accuracy. This PMC 5.56 NATO ammo is a reliable, affordable military-strength cartridge that fires from most AR-15s for training and target shooting.

PMC assures their exacting adherence to the precise specifications of military and law-enforcement organizations that X-TAC ammunition will perform perfectly when a serious threat arises.

Have a question about this?

This will be displayed next to your question.

What does it mean; “fires from most AR-15’s?” Currently have a 5.56 / .223 AR-15; does this statement suggest ammo might not / will not work in my rifle?
Answer: Hi JDM! That sentence only acknowledges that many AR-15s are chambered for other cartridges (e.g. 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC, 350 Legend, etc.). So long as an AR-15 is chambered for 5.56x45 (like the vast majority are), then it should have zero problems firing M855.
