Precision Made Cartridges (PMC) is criminally underrated by American sportsmen and CCW’ers. Sure, its packaging could look a little more exciting, but just beneath that cardboard lies the only thing that truly matters in life: quality .44 S&W Special ammunition.
This cartridge’s 180 grain bullet might also have been designated a “semi-jacketed” hollow point. That’s because its steel-free copper-alloy jacket does not extend to sit flush with the rim. Instead it bares some lead, which helps the bullet fan out wider following impact at the .44 Special’s lower velocities (relatively speaking, at least; 352 ft lbs striking energy at 25 yards isn’t all that “weak” unless you’re comparing it to the .44 Magnum, which you can’t help but do when you’re talking about the .44 Spl).
This nonmagnetic and reloadable ammunition is quite naturally suitable for use in a .44 Mag, and may even be preferable for shooters who have difficulty taming the double-cuatro’s famous recoil. This ammo would also work fine in a lever-action rifle, and would do precisely what one should hope to varmints and/or coyotes.
