Yes, it was pretty cheap,
Yes, it was pretty cheap, but it feels like a super cheap model. It is flimsy and would easily crush. Inner foam is thin, cheap, and not even cut correctly. There is no seal and the edges have no waterproof capability. A cheap, soft case with a zipper would give more protection. Definitely do NOT try to put this on a plane or put in any situation where it could be stacked or handled by others. Highly suggest you spend a little more and get a better case.

I ordered this case because I needed a case that would fit in my car and still fit my rifle with 50mm scope inside it. Unfortunately, my rifle does not fit in this case. I have a Remington 700 Varmint SF with a large tactical scope. It may not have fit due to the tactical target turrets on my scope, I'm not really sure. It would have worked if it was a inch wider. I ended up having to buy a soft case to meet my needs. My advice would be to make sure you know what dimensions your rifle case needs to be before ordering online.

This case is made of thin
This case is made of thin plastic as everyone else has said; what can you expect for $20! I'm more than satisfied with this case. I wanted a case to take my rifle to the range or out hunting with scope and bipod attached. I couldn't find a soft shell to meet my needs, but this case does everything I need. I wouldn't expect it to be indestructible or waterproof at this price point. I would absolutely purchase another one of these in the future.

The case is ok for the money it cost. The plastic is thin and flexible and the padding is so so. I have a Chinese sks with Tapco Fusion T6 stock. The case would not fit my sks if it had a scope on it. Best used with rifles without pistol grip stocks from what I can tell. But worth the money if you are in the need for a case.

It is a twenty dollar hard rifle case. Plastic is not extremely thick, but it works. Good buy for $20

I have a few of these cases and recommend them to friends. These are NOT extremely rugged cases, don't expect to put your rifle in it and be able to drop the case down a flight of stairs! However, the shell is more than durable enough to protect the contents from even hard bumps and scrapes while transporting to and from the range. If you have non-scoped rifles you may even be able to squeeze two into one of these cases (I keep a K98 and an SKS in one case) but you probably will want to use an old towel to prevent them from rubbing against each other.

I have to say I really do
I have to say I really don't like to buy stuff off the internet but I have come to trust Cheaper Than Dirt. Anyways I really love this case someone called it flimsy or whatever well maybe they don't know how to handle a gun case? I have a 10 pound howa 1500 30-06 fitted with a scope and bipod, I picked up the bipod from here too, and it fits perfectly into the case. My only complaint is that it may be a little hard to fit into a trunk. Otherwise very commendable

This is not a high-end rifle case. The plastic a bit flimsy, the foam padding tends to separate from the case plastic, and the plastic edges tend to be sharp and unfinished. It holds on to the rifle better than some cases that cost twice as much or more, and the four decent latches add some redundancy. Plus you can add a padlock if you'd like. 4 bullets for the value.

Fits my Stevens 200 .308
Fits my Stevens 200 .308 perfectly with a BSA 3-9x50 scope and Harris bipod. If you have a bipod, I suggest taking it off and placing it in the case. The case is a little flimsy. Not a great deal of padding. But for the price, you can't beat it. I recommend purchasing this case if you're strapped for cash. Especially if you just need it for transporting to and from the range.

I bought this case for my
I bought this case for my customized allweather stainless 10/22. I have it built up to look like a tactical rifle with an ATI stock an bipod. And this case allows me to fit along with my gun w/bipod attached, all 8 of my Ruger mags attached with E&L's clip holders, my MWG 50-Rounder teardrop mag, my ProMag 50rd drum, my S&W Shooters glasses, earplugs, and my range mini-tool kit ALL COMFORTABLY INSIDE!!! This case has 4 sturdy latches, steel hingepins and 5 PADLOCK RINGS MOLDED IN, 1 AT EACH CORNER AND 1 AT THE CARRY HANDLE FOR GREAT SECURITY!! And I believe that this is even the case that at least one major black rifle manufacturer that I know of, and a lot of dealers all over the US ship their 'Black Rifles' in too!! I just bought another for my new DPMS Panther Bull Twenty, I know I'll buy at least a few more in the next few years and maybe a couple of their next larger 2-rifle cases!! It's not the most sturdy case but not the flimsiest EITHER! I would much rather have the case give a little as it does, than break when something hits it or gets set on top of it as other cases have done for me! ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER WHEN MOST OTHER PLASTIC GETS BRITTLE!! If you're ready to buy 1, at this price BUY 2 so you have an extra for your next longgun purchase!!
