Great product and easy to install
I recommend paying a bit extra for faster shipping due to the wait was torturous for an impatient man like myself. Easy to install, and I recommend extending the stock to its maximum length to allow for room to use the Hex key to attach the stock. Light weight but feels strong. No creaking or movement when attached. I added a limb saver to the stock to give a bit more length due to my abnormally long arms. Grip texture feels good but look to add some grip tape for some more friction in the grip. Shell carriers are a bit time but time will tell how long they will last. Great product and great price. Pros: Easy to install

I think they used w.e image the got. THIS MODEL DOES NOT HAVE THE RECOIL SPRING. The only recoil reducing aspect is the pad. The holder is trash and will drop the shell so use loctite for it. If your particular one has sharp edges just sand em down with some sandpaper like I did. Otherwise pretty good for the cash for my Hawk 982. Fit great.

Pretty nice for the price.
Like everyone else said, it installs in just a few minutes. The shot shell holder is pretty cheap so I don't expect it to last very long and I do recommend using blue loctite to fasten it in place. Not to exactly like the product advertised, but if your building on a budget its a great deal.

Bought this for my H&R Pr
Bought this for my H&R Protector Pump. Installed in a few minutes and works as advertised. Has a few drawbacks, the screw that adjusts tension on the locking mechanism for length of pull works loose occasionally. Along with that the shot shell caddy has become less than 'grippy' and the shells bounce loose. Also a sharp molding where the buffer meets the grip cut my cheek on several occasions before I figured out the problem and filed it. All in all, however, the stock is great and makes shooting magnums and slugs easier because of length of pull adjustment and recoil absorption.

Went on in no time, took
Went on in no time, took longer to take off the old stock. Put this on an H&R NP1 Protector, and if fit like a glove without the factory spacer. Have run some 3' 00buck and #4buck through it and it feels really good. It comes to the shoulder fast with a good weld and has held up so far with no problems.

Installed in about 15 mins. 4 stars because it has a hard edge where the stock meets the tube that cut me every time I shot it. Filed that and no more problems in that department. Shell caddy was handy to have in the woods but wore out quickly. Helps to control heavy recoil from slugs and buckshot.

Installed on my 870 Wingm
Installed on my 870 Wingmaster turned tactical. Great stock for the money. Works just like any collapsible stock on an AR. It's lightweight and feels very durable. I was worried about 2 things:1. Pistol grip to trigger housing weld.2. Stock to receiver weld.Both were no issue at all! Taking the old stock off was more trouble than installing this one. For the stock to receiver weld it is important to remove the metal spacer that sits in front of the vanilla stock that you're replacing. Also helps to extend the buttstock all the way out to get a better shot at the screw. Overall the stock feels great. It doesn't rattle too much (about the same as any M4) and it feels ergonomic and sturdy. Would highly recommend.

I got a 870 for my wife, however it was to long of stock for her so I got This stock with pistol Grip. It fit on Great and now my wife can shoot her new 870. What is nice is so can I ... and I'm a Big boy.

just got it.doesnt quite
just got it.doesnt quite look like the picture. have yet to shoot with it. shot shell holder is sturdy but feels like its made of rubber but seems solid. took less than five minutes to install on my h&r pardner pump 12ga. does have a slight gap but seems solid. if you put the shell holder on the right hand side i recommend using the second notch from fully closed or your wrist will push on the shell. hopefully it reduces recoil more.

I had the Kicklite returned that and exchanged it for this Field series version half price same great look, perfect fit, solid but does not pop you in the face every time you shoot like the so called reduced recoil kicklite. Great Product buy this dont waste time or the money fooling with the kicklite.

The quality of this stock
The quality of this stock by far exceeds my expectations. Many seem flimsy and toy like and I'm not a big fan of 'recoil suppression', but Phoenix made this NRS stock feel like 'professional grade'. The install on a twenty year old 870 went flawlessly and took longer to take the old stock off than to put the new one on. Thanks to the included Allen tool. Fit and finish were excellent. The shell holder seems a little soft so we'll see if the shells stay put under heavy recoil when I get it out to the range. Great Price, Great Shipping ...That IS CTD!

I recently bought a H&R pardner. Was searching for a nicly priced stock to go along with it and this is the one!! buy it! its easy to install (10 min at most) and it looks like a beast and fits like a glove. cant go wrong with a $50 purchase. You WILL NOT be disapointed. i highly recommend it. A tip, Use loctite when installing.

Just got this in yesterda
Just got this in yesterday, and man is it sweet, especially for this price! Great fit to my 870 clone, and very easy to install. I read the complaint on here about installation, and it simply is not the case if you know how to tighten a screw! Recoil is neither helped nor hurt with the pad that comes on it, and the 6 points allow a wide range of adjustments. The shell holder holds ammunition nice and tight, yet loose enough to make for no-hassle retrieval. The whole setup is ergonomically sound and I love the large hole for a sling swivel, makes fitment of said part worry-free! I will definitely be buying one of these again for my wife's 870!

The stock installed in less than 3 min and was a nice tight fit. although there is a small lip because the dimensions are a little off on the H&R it still looks awesome reduces recoil better than the standard stock and is very robust and solid. the shell holder is made of a more rubber style plastic but seems to be very tough also. I also like the very thick butt pad. overall I would buy this stock again and I do recommend it for anyone with a pardner pump. I had no issue with the installation of the stock like the previous guy. I figured he is not mechanically inclined or had a damaged pardner. Mine took less than 3 min to attach to the shotgun and the allen screw had no issue and fit exactly as it should. Sorry for your luck pal but this stock was born to fit a H&R Pardner. I would give it an extra star if I could to offset the star you took off for no reason.

I got this for my H&R(NEF
I got this for my H&R(NEF) Pardner Pump which is an 870 clone. It came super fast, as always with CTD. Instructions were not needed but are easy to comprehend for the not technically inclined. Haven't shot it with the new stock but it looks awesome, fits great. The only reason I gave it 4 bullets was that it was a pain to install, it comes with an allen wrench but the screw is partially obstructed by the buffer tube and handle, so it inserts at a little bit of an angle, you have to make sure its in there deep enough or the wrench will slip out and strip the screw. Also it was a tight fit I had to really struggle to tighten the screw, might have been easier with a vise. Overall it took an hour to put on. It was worth it though.

I bought this for my 870
I bought this for my 870 clone (NEF 12ga.). Fit was great. It would be super cool if they used the hollow pistol grip as a storage compartment. Maybe a flip down bottom piece that was sprint latched, this way you could put maybe a survival kit in there, fishing line, hook, flint stone, etc. Other than that the fit and function is great!

If you are in the market to change your 870 from Turkey hunting to home defense and keep an all around great stock, this is the way to go! It took me less than 10 minutes to take the factory stock off and install this 'high speed, low drag' tactical stock. This can be used for both hunting and self defense! I love the cushioned rubber pad on the stock!

Stock is easy to install,
Stock is easy to install, I put it on my Interstate Arms shotgun with no problem. And in my opinion the recoil did reduce from the factory stock. Well worth the money.

This is a really nice stock, BUT BEWARE this is not the recoil-reducing version. You need to order the one that comes with the foregrip to get the recoil-reducing version. I foolishly thought that the only difference between this one and the more expensive version was the inclusion of the foregrip. Then I took some slugs out to the range. So, in closing, this is a really nice stock, but the pistol grip is a little less ergonomic than I had hoped, it is not the recoil-reducing version.
