This magnet advertises it
This magnet advertises it will hold ten pounds. Not true. Barely holds onto a full sized handgun. Make sure it has plenty of metal to grab onto. There are much better products.

I own two - one for my desk and another for the coffee table. Works great, very strong magnet. I use adhesive Velcro to attach mine. Magnet is so strong I leave weapon in a holster for a smoother draw. The holster just drops to the floor, but allows the gun to slide across the magnet easier than having to yank it off.

I ordered one and loved it so much, I had to order another one!! This product stands up to what it says!!! I ended up mounting my first one under a desk for my 1911, and it holds it in place with a firm grip. I am buying another one now to install in my Jeep! You won't be sorry for ordering one!

Whoa! That's one strong magnet. Can easily mount to the side of your nightstand, under your desk, or any other place you can think of. My only crit would be to use a 'rubberized' coating instead of the 'teflon' so the gun won't spin if bumped. Still something that I find useful to have for quick, concealed access.
