Okay Baton, TERRIBLE Sheath.
The sheath is not a sheath... it's a nylon noodle with weak rivets and awful velcro. Don't expect to actually use the sheath. Otherwise, the baton is mediocre. It will do the job. I hope.

Tough and Stout!
I am a weapons collector and user and I really never thought of these batons as a possible LTL deterrent.BUT, WOW! these baby's are STOUT and TOUGH!I have now purchased these for my friends, (Christmas!) and several neighbors as well.They will break bone easily and should provide excellent protection against attacks by man or dogs.

Even after adding oil it takes a mini sledge hammer to close. I destroyed the packaging getting them opened, (yes I bought two and they are both worthless), or I would attempt a refund.
