I’m a remodeler and I carry my Glock 26 in a IWB Crossbreed Super Tuck every day under a t-shirt tucked in with minimal printing. The Pearce grip extension does print slightly more but it’s negligible. I’ve never had a customer ask if I’m carrying.

Pearce extended grip for Glock 26
Product arrived fast and undamaged. I installed it easily and it works perfectly. I will be ordering more Pearce grip extenders for my Glock 43 from Cheaper than Dirt.

A world of difference, at a cost.
Rocking a Gen4 Glock 27 was impossible without this extension. For me, the extension practically made it an entirely new gun. You will feel more in control of this firearm for sure. I will not even carry this gun without the extension. However, it only gets 3 stars due to the insane install that was almost impossible and it will occasionally pinch your hand during reloads. Still worth it in my opinion.

My wife just got a Glock
My wife just got a Glock 26 Gen 4 with 3 mags. She wanted grip extensions so she could grip the handle with all her fingers. I researched, and Pearce came up as the best maker of grip extensions. I also learned that grip extensions are sometimes called 'magazine base pads.' Cheaper than Dirt beat everybody on delivered price (even eBay), so I bought 3. Delivery was super fast and cheap using the UPS to mailbox service.Everything was peachy until it came time to remove the Glock base plates (the flat piece of plastic at the bottom of the magazine that holds in the spring). I watched a YouTube video about compressing the sides of the magazine to where the base plate would slide out. It lied. I compressed with all my strength (using large padded channel-lock pliers), but my factory base plates wouldn't slide off, or even budge. Then I determined that I wasn't going to re-use (or try to save) the factory base plates. So I took a pair of mini-channel-lock pliers and I bent the base plate groove channels out and upward without damaging the magazine. The first one surprised me. the spring popped out and shot the inner base plate (with the plastic button) straight up and hit the ceiling. Luckily, it fell right in front of me (or it would have been lost in my garage). Holding the inner plate and spring in was fairly easy, and actually getting the Pearce grip extensions slid/snapped in was easy. They're all 3 done now, and they look super cool. I am impressed with the quality of the polymer that Pearce uses. I would recommend/buy again, but I wouldn't spend so much time next time trying to remove the factory base plates undamaged. Just bend them (without damaging the magazine body), and get it over with.
