The idea of the product is great but...the button on lock plate is too large for the hole in this floor plate. First you need to enlarge the hole. Next S&W EZ 9 lock plate button is not very thick. It works well with the stock floor plate. This floor plate is thicker so the button on the lock plate barley, engages this floor plate. With just a little pressure to floor plate and it rides over the lock plate. Suddenly the floor plate, lock plate, spring, ammunition, and follower all go flying. God forbid this would happen in a life or death defensive situation. Sanding the inside of this floor plate or getting a lock plate with a taller lock plate button, wow problem fixed, then this would be a great product. Pros: Easy installation, no dangling pinky finger Cons: NEVER use for conceal carry, or home defense
