No issues and great feel.
I literally had no issues on my Milspec ar lowers. Regular and 45 degree safeties work fine. Never used a FRT so can't speak to that. But the best application I've found is my bolt action rifels that use an AR style grip/saftey like the a ruger precision series, this grip added a touch of class and modability to the firearm. I freaking love the size and grip angle. Perhaps there's situations where the grip plates can hit the safety but I haven't seen it and haven't been close to worrying about it with many different full size 1911 grip plates, and multible ar style lowers. I'm very happy and impressed with the design and wonder why other companies don't use this idea.

Don't waste your time and money
I have to agree with the only other person dumb enough to try this out. There's just way to much alterations involved with getting the safety to work properly. It can be done it' just needs the Pearce group to go back to engineering and get it right..

Does not work without modification
Does not work without modification. The saftey/fire select lever hits the top of the 1911 grip panel and will not cycle. You will have to grind down the top of your 1911 grip panel to make it work. Ls grips has a better option.
