fit and finish were perfect. 4.5 stars/
i purchased because i was using in conjunction with a Sig Sauer ambi mag release. The Sig release is oversized and i didnt have alot of real estate left for an improved bolt catch. The Paddle by Luthis great-I have it on my other AR- but was a bit too big to use in conjunction with the Sig ambi mag release, which i really really like.

Not mil-spec
Had problems with this part after switching out a mil- spec one. There are several spots where this part doesn't match a mil- spec bolt catch when put side by side. I was switching one out so had pins and spring - but would have been nice if it came with them - it doesn't. Also, only the lower push area is larger the upper push pad is the same size as mil - spec. For the money and quality this not a good product Cons: Grey finish

This catch solves a problem
On of the biggest complaints I have is when locking the bolt back on an AR the standard mil-spec bolt catches are extremely narrow and hard to find without looking. Especially when a loaded magazine is in place. This bold catch gives a wider surface and a very tactile feel so I can quickly reach up and lock the bolt back.
