make sure you have the right handguard before purchase. Bought this thinking it would fit and ended up having to go with a cheap low profile gas block as the clearance was super tight.

Will this fit onto Great Lakes ar10?

No this will not fit. The gas block is the correct diameter, but the GLFA .308 Winchester Rifle comes with a rifle length gas system and this item has a mid-length gas system.
Will this part fit with a high profile handguard?

This will probably not fit under any handguard except the POF ones.
