The mat arrived with one
The mat arrived with one end wrinkled and unable to lay flat. I had to lay it on a table with magazines and heavy objects for a couple days to flatten it out again. After two days it still hasn't flattened completely so I started using it still a little wrinkled. It doesn't appear to be too sturdy. One day I had the heel of my foot on it for a few minutes while watching the television and it seemed to sort of melt it and make it thin in that area. It has since gone back to its original composition but it did leave a little bit of a mark you can see and feel. It seems to mark relatively easy and collects a lot of dust and debris from patches and cleaning guns. It is unusual material, but so far seems to be working okay. It's a very good size for cleaning guns.

The Otis cleaning mat hol
The Otis cleaning mat holds up to the Otis name well. I cleaned my firearms on my kitchen table and no oil or residue leaked through in the two hours of hosing down firearm parts and scrubbing away. The only complaint I have is that the mat is easily torn and cut by sharp parts. But better the mat than my table.
