First used these with pressure washer and noise was reduced. Just got back from indoor range with everyone shooting 9mm. I could hear voices no problem and earshealds worked well. fit is comfortable too.

Bought two based on the sound suppression factor (-31dB. Received them today and they seem a bit flimsy. Once on the range, I'll have more information, but the actual ear buds are too big for a women or someone with small ear canals. We're going to see about modifying it and add smaller ear buds.

brand new out of the package, fellow next to me shot a six inch .45 1911, I could not get to my electronic ear muffs quick enough. noise reduction was very minimal at best. gave them the benefit of doubt. tried them again with a 9mm no matter what position I had them in noise level was very loud. I have been using peltors for a number of years, no problems at all.
