Like I said, this little
Like I said, this little kit is great to have on you in the woods, mainly in case you get your bore plugged with snow or mud. All rolled up the flexible rod and some patches take up very little space in a pack and it all weighs what, 2 oz. The patches actually can be made to fit any bore size, it does work and is pretty clever. Read the instructions, and try one at home before you have to in the woods, then carry the thing with a patch all sized up and ready. However there is no clever way to make a bronze brush fit multiple calibers. The one with the kit is clearly marked .25 caliber, and everybody knows you don't force a .25 caliber brush down a .22 bore, AND if you place it in a .30 caliber bore it simply will not clean anything at all. At any rate at about $12 is a good deal for the rod itself and the patches just to have on hand. Just pick up the correct brush for your particular rifle for a buck fifty before you head out with it.

Bare bones simple kit, we
Bare bones simple kit, well-made bore snake, but way too big for a .22 - snake fits but not with a cleaning patch or wire brush on.
