Original Swiss Military M57 bayonet was crafted in the 1950's by Wenger for use on the Sturmgewehr 57 battle rifle in Switzerland and is still in use today by the Swiss military. Featuring a 9.5" stainless steel double edged blade that is .875" thick and ribbed designed specifically to cut through anything. The 5" molded and ridged handle proviceds a secure grip for hand to hand combat and the metal tang has a spring release with a .875" hand guard protector.

The M57 bayonet was designed to be mounted on Sturmgewehr 57 battle rifles, Sig-57, in the 1950's. We have found a few of these that have been retired from the Swiss military and most appear to be in excellent condition; some may show some usage. Each bayonet includes the scabbard.
