The German military used these wicks for igniting heavy artillery during WWII; we bought them to be used for gun cleaning. 100% Cotton, each string wrapped bundle consists of eight, 7" long wicks with 16 individual strands that make up the eight inner bundles. This is a case of 1,000 bundles of wicks. Pull them a part and use them to clean the barrel and chamber of your weapon; heck they are just a cool piece of history!
