Original surplus M10M gas mask used by the East German and Czechoslovakia army with a filter and drinking tube is lightweight, and specially designed for extended use with superior comfort, secure fit, and low breathing resistance. The Czech M10M gas mask intended to offer protection against nuclear, chemical, and biological agents for the Czech Military. This protective respiratory system provides full facial coverage with dual eye openings for a clear view.
The M10M is an upgraded model which entered production in the late 1980s. Changes included the head harness, the voice diaphragm/exhale system. Which was changed to a large grey plastic piece, with a long "M1" style drinking tube wrapped around the assembly with a rubber flap folding over it.
The Czech M10M gas mask is equipped with cheek filters that directly purifies the air for easier breathing, a drinking tube for easy and comfortable fluid accessibility and adjustable rubber straps that are specially designed for comfort and extended use.

M10M Gas Mask
Fantastic! For us older former military this mask brings back some memories. It is very much like the mask I was issued back in the early 70's. I bought 2 to check the quality and I bought 6 more. Tis item is well worth the money. Comes in a very strong carry case and you get some extra parts. The case has an extra compartment to use as you see fit. These are brand new masks, filters, parts, and case! No disappointments.

Great mask, new in package.
This thing has the powder still on it from original manufacturers specifications, however using it in an actual survival scenario where any type of gas would need to be filtered would be dubious at best. The in cheek filters are outdated and may not filter anything at the age they are. But as far as a novelty item which this is sold as its really quite unique and interesting.

Great Mask Within It's Limitations
Basically a copy of the US M17 model, this is a nice mask and should work just fine after proper adjustment. BE AWARE that this mask is MOT suited for long term use in a hazardous environment. The filters will reach saturation in a specific amount of time and will need to be changed. No biggie- all gas masks are the same in this regard. HOWEVER, in order to change the filters you must REMOVE the mask from your face- if you're still in a hazardous environment it kinda defeats the purpose, doesn't it?Solution: ensure that you are away from danger or hazards before changing filters OR choose another model with the filters external to the body of the mask.
