The Odin Works XMR Gen II extended magazine release was developed because shooters wanted an extended release that worked with the Magpul BAD lever. This release is machined from billet aluminum and has the Odin boomerang cuts and works with or without the BAD lever. Larger than a mil-spec release, it is easily accessible without changing grip or position and contoured for positive depression and reduced slip.

Looks awesome and functions flawlessly
This mag release was easy to install and looks great on my rifle. Much easier to press than the smaller stock option, especially when wearing gloves.

I would buy this again.
Easy install and function. Nice "custom" look as well.

Works Better than Stock
I chose this model over the magpul based on the aesthetics, but I wish I'd have gone with the Magpul. While this works fine, the material removed from the release causes a bit sharper edge than is comfortable on the finger tip. I'm not at all worried about getting cut, the edge is deburred and clean, but I think a solid design would be a bit more comfortable. The function is perfect and having the additional length on the release definitely makes it easier.
