NobelSport MiniBuck LE 12 Gauge shotgun shells are 2-1/4” long! Naturally, that means they hold less 00 buck than usual: six pellets, as opposed to the eight or nine that are normal for 2-3/4” shells. You’ll still deal ample damage to close-range targets courtesy of the shell’s supersonic 1,250 fps muzzle velocity, but a direct hit will undeniably deal *less* damage than a full-size shell.
That reduced damage doesn’t come without a couple welcome advantages. First, this shell recoils *way* less than pretty much any 2-3/4” or longer shell. In addition to greater comfort, that promises less muzzle rise – and less time required to restore your aim on target after each shot because of it. Second, you can fit more 2-1/4” shells in a tube magazine than you could longer ones! So long as your pump-action can cycle short shells reliably (consult its manual or manufacturer if you’re uncertain), this ammo will put more volleys at your immediate disposal. (Semi-autos can’t cycle this ammo, unfortunately. It’s too short, and it doesn’t generate enough pressure to operate the loading mechanism).

Was thinking about trading in my Mossberg 500 12 pump for a 20. My gun guy introduced me to these. WOW. I hadn't shout the 12 because of the fear of the kick. Watching guys getting put to the ground because of the kick. These cycle and shoot flawless without having to use a stupid adapter. Taps like a ar15 recoil. very nice shooting off either shoulder. For home defense, so wonderful being better able to control recoil and recover to reload.

Can't get the to cycle x2
Two of us, both using Mossberg products couldn't get these to cycle properly with or without an OPSol adapter. Can't recommend them.

This is a relatively inexpensive and very solid product. More in the chamber and really nice pattern spread!

2.25", not 1.75"
These were not what I was looking for. I clicked on "mini" button for shell size not realizing most were 1 3/4" but these were 2 1/4". They cycle fine if you cylcle quickly. They will get hung up if slow cycle. They will not work with the Opsol mini shell adapter. I could fit 6 rounds in the magazine tube of my Mossberg Shockwave.

I use these in a Mossberg
I use these in a Mossberg too. Once you learn to rack the slide in one fast, smooth motion they cycle well. I too had trouble with them falling out of the bottom of the shell lifter before I learned that trick. They would be good for in house defense but they do spread quickly I found out. Up to about fifteen yards, pretty deadly I'd say.

Nice round with lots of p
Nice round with lots of pros. One more round will fit in my Maverick88. I shot 3 boxes with no cycling issues. Recoil is light enough where my 5' wife can shoot them without being kicked nearly to the ground. There is enough knock down to be effective. As the title says, 'Will get more'.

I am training my girlfrie
I am training my girlfriend to use firearms and these are a good starter ammo. They cycle great in my Remington 870 and Escort AimGuard. You can shoot them for hours and not have your shoulder banged and bruised up. I also can fit 6+1 using 4 of these and two 2 3/4 in the tube and one 2 3/4 in the chamber. Granted it's a tight fit but I have cycled it dozens of times loaded this way and it always chambers perfectly. They have a nice pattern, usually forming an almost perfect circle.

I've found these to be hard shooting and decent patterning loads at short ranges out of my Cylinder bore 88 Mossberg. Six 00 pellets should be sufficient to stop any threat inside the home and I've found the effective range to be about twenty yards. As far as cycling it is in learning how with the Mossberg, using one smooth, fast and steady motion. I too had trouble with the mossberg shell lifter when I first tried these but after learning how they are very reliable. I shoot a lot of the mini slugs and buckshot and have a new shell lifter I am going to extend the (To short) center tab in which will completely eliminate any failure to feed problems, very easy to fix.

I order a case of them be
I order a case of them because I knew that these shorter rounds would give me 1 extra shell in my tube. Surprisingly, these had more recoil than my Fiocchi reduced recoil OO buck loads. Yet, they did not have enough energy to cycle my Stoeger 2000 shotgun. It worked flawless in my Winchester 1300 pump action. I expect it to run perfect in most pump guns, and am especially eager to try them in a KelTec KSG. :)
