This NcSTAR 48" rifle case/shooting mat is constructed from heavy duty PVC material. The main compartment: measures 48"x11"x1 3/4", and the whole thing unfolds into a 66"x35" shooter's mat. With heavy duty zippers, padded panels, and a one piece cleaning rod compartment, this combo represents an excellent value.
Two large zippered internal compartments provide plenty of room for extra gear, and the clear plastic windowed compartment for ballistics chart keeps you in the fight. Ammo storage isn't an issue, with elastic bands (10 each) for individual .30 caliber cartridges. Two shoulder straps (with a sternum and waist strap) are provided; this allows you to carry the rifle case like a back pack.
