The NcSTAR Gen2 AR-15 Rail Riser raises the Picatinny rail on an AR-15 upper receiver by .75", permitting a more comfortable cheek rest and shooting position with a low profile optic. It provides a 13 slot Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rail section, more than adequate for most scopes. The riser features a locking quick release mount which allows attaching and removing the optic with a return to zero. A see-through channel below the rail reduces weight and may permit use of iron sights on some weapons.
