The momentary/constant sw
The momentary/constant switch isn't what I expected. If you tighten the end cap/switch all the way, the light is on (constant). If you loosen it enough so the light isn't always on, it acts like a momentary switch - as long as you push the end cap in, the light's on. I expected a 'clicker' end cap type switch.That being said, it's a clear, white light that's bright enough to blind someone in the middle of night in close quarters. The mounting ring is solid and functional.

Total garbage. Light is not bright at all, mount is so cheaply made that it cannot withstand recoil while on weapon. Save your money and buy something else.

Can this light be installed onto a picatinny rail?

It has a Weaver mount but it should also fit a picatinny rail.
