Mission First Tactical's standard capacity AR-15 magazine was engineered as an enhancement of the standard STANAG design. It features a stipple texture with low profile front ribs and a flared floor plate that aids in extraction. It has two drain holes. A four way anti-tilt follower insures reliable feeding. It is easily disassembled without tools for maintenance. A paint pen dot matrix area on the floor plate allows easy identification marking.

Great quality magazines
I like this clips they run good. They go in smooth and drop smooth. And not bad priced. I currently own 16 of them. And will order more in the future.

near perfect quality mags
i got 3 of these for my colt m4 5.56 so far iv had no problems other than first time using one mag it jammed about 5 rounds in easy clear and no further problems each mag now has close to 1000 rounds fired on them its most likely all i will ever buy again due to the fact i dont have to beat this mag into the gun to not risk a jam all around its a great mag at a amazing price i suggest them to everyone Pros: eliminates the 30 round mag first round jam Cons: easy to overload will hold 31 but shouldn't

1 of 2 magazines FAILED within 4 months
I purchased two of these about 4 months ago, along with some .300 blackout ammo, and loaded both with it. When I went to check on the magazines before taking them to the range, I noticed that the sides appeared to be bulging in the center. I compared them to a pair of Pmags also loaded with .300 blackout, and the Pmags looked fine. When I manually unloaded the magazines to check their feeding and spring tension, I ran into a still unexplained and never before encountered situation: in one of the Mission First magazines, the follower stopped about an inch from the top and would not go further. It moved up and down freely but just refused to go all the way up, and I saw no reason for its refusal. After about five minutes, just as I was about to take it apart, the follower popped up on its own. These magazines are not designed for .300 ammo, and I see that there are a couple of plastic tabs that are supposed to keep the bullets aligned, but the Pmags have a similar tab and exhibit no such problems. After close examination of the magazine, all I can say is nope, not in my gun, and for anybody considering using 5.56/.223 magazines for .300: while none of my other mags - plastic or metal - seem to mind, it's probably not a good idea.
