This Midwest Industries AK Gen 2 scope side mount is designed to attach directly to your AK receiver via the rail on your AK. The mount features an QD system which doesn't require a tool to adjust. The mount is constructed from 6061 aluminum and is hard coat anodized. This particular Gen 2 mount is designed to be compatible any optic which attaches directly to a picatinny rail, however the top piece is modular and can be switched to a different configuration in the future if desired.
