A detent button locks the sight in both the folded and deployed position. The 4140 steel and 6061 billet aluminum construction is built to last. It comes with the front sight post installed and also has a machined bayonet lug. Don't stress about install, it easily clamps onto your .750" gas journal with three screws and an allen wrench.
