German gun maker Merkel is perhaps best known for their high end safari grade double rifles and top notch over and under shotguns. Merkel now brings that gun making skill and expertise to the R15 bolt action rifle, chambered in calibers suitable for North American game. The R15 is a superbly accurate rifle with a silky smooth bolt action. The barrel is free floated in a synthetic polymer stock. The action and barrel have a unique matte grey finish.
