Great Mag, Will buy more.
I purchased 2 of these, because my new gun only came with 1 magazine. These feed and function without any issues. I only have about 200 rounds through them but they work as well as factory magazines. I would recommend. Pros: Great for compact and officer size clones.

Somewhat disappointed
I purchased four 8 rd. mags and three 7 rd. mags. All Mec-Gar. The 7 rd mags are terrible. They only hold 6 rounds and very difficult to load. I will be returning or exchanging the 7 round magazines.

cant beat price and i bou
cant beat price and i bout the extension's for mine they work just as good as factory ones . I have plenty right now but if I needed more I would buy these you get 2 for the price of one factory mags

Do these magazines load and function in the rock island compact 3.5 inch 7 shot pistol?

Armscor and Rock Island Armory produce many pistol models of different types. As long as you have a Rock Island compact/officer frame 1911 this should work fine.
