The 165 grain bullet prod
The 165 grain bullet produces less recoil than the standard 230 grain. Would be a good choice for a small, lightweight pistol. In my 4' Kimber, they grouped well out to 20 yards, and I didn't notice any feed problems. I did notice at 20 yards, the holes in the target were not round, suggesting that the bullets were tumbling. Common problem for the wide mouth hollow point bullets. With bad aerodynamics and most of the weight in the rear of the bullet, they won't fly straight for very long. But from 0 to 10 yards, they will work just fine.

I fire these out of my Glock 30 with no problems at all. They are very accurate and consistant. I cannot get them to feed from the clip in my Taurus PT1911 though. I tried the factory clips and Chip McCormick clips. They won't feed from either one. I believe the cause is that the cavity is so large with a rather sharp edge and it catches. I carry them in my Glock always though.

Bought these for conceale
Bought these for concealed carry in my Glock G30 and Kimber Pro Carry. Problem is that I got a FTF in my Kimber and a FTE in my Glock. Never had one single FTF/FTE in either weapon before I fed them these Magtechs. I've bought a lot of Magtech range ammo in the past in a number of calibers and have never had a failure before. No problems in my Sig 220 or HK USP .45 though. Not sure if I'd bet my life on em.

Shoots accurate and was really amazed at how sweet the +P recoil felt through my 5' Springfield 1911. I don't think the expansion on this ammo is as optimum and consistant as some of the others on the market, but good enough for me to feel comfortable with it in the nightstand. As more of a hobbyist than serious competitor, factoring in cost and the fact that I do not like the idea of running +P through a 1911, after I test fire, it will not see the range again.

This is some great ammo.
This is some great ammo. 100% accurate. Would use for competition/self defense. I like this ammo better than the golden saber +P which I shoot immediately following.
