I've been very impressed
I've been very impressed with Magtech since I first tried them several years ago. Never a misfire, fail to feed, or fail to eject. Clean burning and consistent groupings.Until I used this round. I found that it's just a bit to large for a compact, single stack. My Ruger LC9 doesn't care for them. The bullet is just to long to make it into the chamber at times. I have found that the Magtech 124 gr. soft point works great in that pistol.I still give 5 stars though, as my Ruger P95 loves it. Eats 'em up and spits 'em out with clockwork regularity. Just proves that different weapons have limits. Finding those limits, and then the round that meets them are the key. As for the round itself. As we all know, 9mm's don't have the best stopping power. But, with the weight of this round, along with the hollow point, I hope if ever needed, it'll do the trick, as the P95 is my self defense weapon of choice.

Magtech hit a home run on
Magtech hit a home run on this one! Engineered to be shot without damaging your barrel. I bought 100 rounds to see if the hype was real. No doubt! 4,000 rounds later, no misfires yet! The barrel mics out within normal wear after firing these rounds! A JHP you can actually shoot! Knowing your weapon & bullet performance is a must! I KNOW exactly how these bullets tend to act. Comparable to the much more expensive Hornady TAP FPD's in design, weight, and force. They just don't leave your wallet light! Every gun shoots bullets differently. Order a box of each weight to see which one suits you & your gun. Then order a case to really learn the bullet. You will have a load you are confident in for a fraction of the price. Makes going to sleep a little bit easier! I'll take 10,000 for my BOB!

I have not shot enough of
I have not shot enough of it to speak from experience but this is rated for sport shooting and should be reliable enough to use for self defense. It is what I am keeping loaded for my own personal protection. I think the larger, slower round should limit the chance of passing straight through an intruder without making a huge hole. A well made 147 grain JHP for about $18 per 50 rounds is a pretty good deal.
