The Magpul Suppressor Cover is able to stand up to the extreme temperatures caused during extended strings of fire of either semi auto or full auto suppressed weapons. The Magpul Suppressor cover protects you against burns while simultaneously speeding up the cooling process. The cover is constructed from heat-resistant polymer which has been overlaid onto a raised stainless steel heat shield which mounts direct to the suppressors body with steel clamps. Additionally the cover will serve as a thermal insulator reducing muzzle signature and mitigating the mirage distortion of the sight picture typically found when shooting suppressed.
