Does this fit the at-15 mag 30 round thats for the 556?
Answer:
No this will not fit. This is designed to fit 7.62x51 NATO LR/SR Gen M3 MOE Pmags, however, we do have Ranger plates designed to fit 5.56 NATO AR/M4 Gen M3 MOE PMAGS. Check out item # 10384.
Do these fit the 40 round pmags that are gen 3?

According to Magpul this is a floorplate replacement for all 7.62x51 PMAG LR/SR GEN M3 magazines. The 40 round Pmags are typically for AR15s, which use a smaller ranger plate. Check out item # 2-MPIMAG561BLK.
