This is the Mother-of-All-Swivels.
I bought one or these to mate up with the magpul proprietary lower side-mounted swivel mount that came installed on my personal 16 pound 6.5 Cred. chassis rifle. I have a forged steel conventional locking QD swivel with a screw-in locking sleeve as the upper swivel. Between the two, I'll never have to worry about the a bent wire loop opening up and spilling the rifle on the ground like I've seen happen to several of my customers. It's very pricy, but given the machine work, materials, and the "bank vault" design that has been invested in this, you can see where the money was spent. An added advantage is it can locked in either the vertical or horizontal position. This helps when you actually use a sling to help brace the rifle in position shooting. It detaches instantly with only one hand yet once it locks on the stock mount it literally becomes part of the stock. Worth every penny.

I have a Ruger AR-15 556 with a hole under the bayonet lug. It has a loop for a sling on the slide stock but just that hole in the front. Will this fit in that hole? I want to put a sling on it. Rudi Pierotti Boise Idaho
