Magpul Magazines Are the Industry Standard
The Magpul PMAG 30 Round Magazine designed specifically for the .300 AAC Blackout Cartridge. The genesis of the blackout cartridge was to provide special operations units a .30 caliber compatible round that functions under the constraints of the existing AR pattern dimensions and the .300 AAC blackout cartridge was born. The ability to shoot both subsonic and supersonic cartridges with a suppressor further pushed the envelope and it was found that some of the larger grain weight projectiles, occasionally had reliability issue. In step Magpul with a quick solution and optimized magazine for the platform. This magazine allows you full compatibility with all of the various .300 AAC Blackout cartridges and with the visual differences in the magazines you can quickly identify your different magazines avoiding any potential disasters. Another great product you need.
Excellent product. Its says 300 Black Out on it. I paint the indentations white or red white and blue. Paint pens work great. White out does too. These magazines feed flawlessly. Caps work well also. I wrap purple electrical tape around the mag for safety and EZ I’d. Will buy again.

An excellent, quality mag
My cheap lower is kind of picky about mags. These have never given me a failure to feed. Love ’em.

Worth having, especially for heavy subsonic loads
Excellent feeding even when I fired a mixed mag of 110,150, and 200 grain loads.

.300 Blk Marked Mags
Magpul quality P Mags. I've never had any problems running .300 Blk out of a 5.56 P Mag, but having one dedicated/marked .300 Blk magazine to keep in my rifle for display purposes is nice. All my other mags are 5.56 P Mags (20, 30 and 40 round) and work just as well.

A solution for a problem that I don't have
Let me start off by saying that I am a huge Magpul fanboy because Magpul continues to release quality products. I was skeptical as to why there was a need for a separate .300 AAC Blackout Magazine since I don't have any issues running my standard 5.56 Magpul Pmag's in conjunction with .300 AAC Blackout. It's my understanding that some people have had issues with .300 AAC Blackout so good on Magpul for resolving an issue for that percentage of shooters who have issues. I would take it a step further and release additional colors of this magazine . As of the date of this review they only have produced a Black version of the magazine.
