Magpul PMAGs are excellent AR-15 magazines. I have been using them for years and have never experienced a problem. I have even kept magazines fully loaded for up to 2 years, and had no malfunctions. These are not the most expensive and not the cheapest magazines for an AR-15, but they certainly are reliable, and that’s why I always go with Magpul PMAGs.

Get the M3’s instead.
They work alright but I would recommend getting the new M3 versions instead of these. When fully loaded they have trouble locking in unless you jam them in really hard due to there not being a notch above the release indent. The new ones have a notch above and below to ensure they lock in all the way. Just my experience I’m sure it has to do with the release on my AR but for me the M3 works better than these.

Good mags, KUDOS to Customer Service
They're PMAG's, pretty much the standard that (IMO) other mags are judged by. I prefer the Gen M2's for a couple of reasons. (1) The optional dust covers when removed, snap onto the bottom of the mag, and (2) I have an older generation AR that the newer generation mags won't fully insert into the mag well without modification due to the over insertion lug that's built into them. On a side note, there was a mix up on my last order and the Customer Service Rep at CTD promptly took care of it.

I have a mix of M2 and M3 P-Mags in 20, 30 and one 40 round capacity. The M3 comes with the dust cover which I do not use, so I started buying the M2 for less money. Both work fine in my standard AR lower mag well. I've used 5.56 in each and they all cycle every time. I also shoot .300 Blackout with these same mags and the .300 cycles fine as well. No feed problems, no drop problems and very durable even when dropped on a cement range floor from a standing position. Another great product from Magpul.

As a GI mag user, this PMAG is different but amazing
These are by far the best magazines I have ever used. I've used steel and aluminum GI mags, as well as numerous polymer magazines, but this one is by far the best. It's strong, lightweight, and feels good in your hand. The only downside is that it seems slightly more difficult to load by hand. Pros: Good Price / Value Cons: Difficulty hand loading

The clips were made at good quality in the springs them are awesome to fit the 30-round Gen 2 some clips when you get to the 30th around the Springs not want to give enough to get the bullet in not with these the last bullet fits in and it doesn't feel like you're damaging the round to get it in awesome magazine

Always dependable
Great surface for a firm grip, never jams and sturdy. You can drop these, kick them, toss them in the bed of your pick up and not have to worry about them breaking. Get the dust covers! Saves you from having to take it apart and clean them out from a bunch of crud floating around in the bottom. They are solid and don't clang around or make a cheap plastic noise when you knock them. Pros: Dependable Cons: Addictive

Very durable, lightweight magazine 30 round that fits 5.56 and .223 bullets. Snaps right into the rifle with ease doesn't miss a shot and cycles well. I recommend a pmag grip to go with two pmag magazines.

Magpul PMAG AR-15
I ordered nine of these to fill my case. I was a little nervous committing to so many before testing and using one. However, they worked flawlessly in my DPMS AR. After 400 rounds, not one single hiccup. I am very impressed and will absolutely stick with Magpul PMAGs for my future mag purchases.

It's admirable how thin and light Magpul is able to get these mags while maintaining a sturdy, smooth-feeding, easy-to-handle package. The plastic especially on these is grippier than the pair of Tapco's I have, and that makes these noticeably easier to hold onto and manipulate.

I got the new catalog in
I got the new catalog in the mail and noticed these mags were listed at $9.71 so I though great deal and went online to buy them. Suddenly the price had been changed by the 'warehouse' and the catalog price would NOT be honored. this is a shoddy way to do business. The reason I was given that the catalogs take a few weeks to produce and many vendors change their prices during CTD's promotion. Needless to say they didn't sell me their mags even though the price was still good. It was the principle. If CTD do not consider bettering their business practices they may indeed lose my business altogether. Get it together second raters.

These magazines did not at all work for my AR-15, I have a Del-Ton upper and every one jams in the gun. In order for these magazines to work I had to file the lips back 1/4 in. I do not recommend buying unless you are willing to modify the magazines.

I have a .300 Black Out a
I have a .300 Black Out and the metal magazine that came with the rifle didn't cycle the ammo correctly. The ammo tended to tilt also. I was pointed to these mags as a replacement and they work beautifully. The ammo fits tighter and the cycle is much more smooth than with the metal magazine. Ill be buying more much to the chagrin of my wife. :)

Excellent product. I now have 4 of these for my Colt SOCOM M4. I have yet to have a single misfeed with at least 300 rounds fed through them. The only issue i have found is when using my girlfriend as manual labor to load mags, they will allow you to stuff 31 rounds in per mag. If you do this, then the magazine will not seat and lock into place, instead it will fall out when you aren't expecting it to. That being said, this also happens with the magazines we used when while I was in the Army. So if it feels full, don't force it. This product is defiantly worth every penny. I plan on purchasing several more in the near future.

Magpul mags are the best
Magpul mags are the best mags I've ever used. Rugged and reliable. I have NEVER had any issues while using these mags. If you put two of them in a tac vest pouch, the flared base will require you to stagger them a little, the Gen3 mags have a smaller base plate to accommodate for this, but the gen2's work fine. Great mags for a great price. Nuff said.

Cheaper than Dirt sent the two mags I ordered, UPS said the 'left them at the front door'. Wife at home and two Dogs that object even if somebody's in the drive way never mind the door UPS didn't leave them at my door. E-mailed Cheaper then Dirt and within 24 hours they send me the next step up (sold out of the ones I ordered) mags because, a investigation by UPS can take more than two weeks. This was my first order with Cheaper than Dirt but with the service they showed me they will be my go site from here on out. A company with customer service like this is worth it's weight in gold.
