Created with the high-speed tactical operator in mind, the Magpul Dynamics team designed the Battery Assist Device or "B.A.D. Lever" to considerably improve the speed and efficiency of activating the AR-15/M16 bolt catch. With this device you can quickly address reloading and malfunction clearance utilizing the extended paddle on the right hand side of the weapon. This Magpul battery assist device lever allows the operator to manipulate the bolt stop from the fire control/ready position using the right hand trigger finger.

Great quality in this device. I only wish they had used a different type screw instead of the star type allen screw. The wrench provided wants to pop out when trying to tighten.

Love this little lever, so much quicker and easier for me to use! I see the wobble most people are talking about but it seems to be in the bolt catch assembly itself and not the product, at least for me that is. Yes I would recomend, easy to install and flawless operation!

I Will Be Buying More of These.
I had looked at the B.A.A. Lever several times, but wondered if it really worked as well as others have stated. I finally pulled the "trigger" and bought one. It arrived yesterday afternoon and I got my 7.5" AR Pistol and assembled it quickly be following the instructions provided. At first, it "felt" a little different with my trigger finger, but found out quickly that is works great! I can drop an empty magazine, insert a fresh 30 rd magazine and drop the Bolt Carrier is a split second. I don't think I will ever be in combat again, but just having this Lever on my Pistol would have been great 45 years ago with my M16-A2 rifle! I will be getting a couple more of these for my other AR-15 rifles too. They work great.

Works very well
I was skeptical at first that this was a gimmick, but I tried it anyway. And I'm glad it did, because this thing really does work once you get used to it. It's incredibly intuitive to have your bolt release actuated by your trigger finger. It changes the motion and rhythm of your reload a little, but it's more efficient in my opinion. It also has a very satisfying mechanical feel to it. It's small but substantial, and seems very durable. It's easy to mount, as well. Took about 3 minutes, I added a little loc-tite to mine. Pros: Convenient

Well made works great looks good on Ruger AR 556
I love the fact by useing my extended charging handle its so easy to hold the battery back and when ready to lock and load .fits tight no wiggle besides the normal side to side of the handle on your AR.A must have upgrade to install on you AR for sure..strong material very well made and did i say wow makes my ruger 556 look and run awesome:) and yes super fast shipping...
