Magpul AFG is the way to go!
Magpul knocked it out the first time when they deigned their AFG. The original is still the one I go for for comfort, look and realizability. The Gen2 AFG’s have harder lines and are smaller. Plus they seem less sturdy to me. They aren’t as comfort as the original. I have bought over twenty of these things since they started making them and will always consider them a go to item for my rifles!

Pretty sweet option
Thought long and hard on this instead of a regular foregrip. After taking a trip to the range I have to say that I like the ergonomics of this thing. Took out the A2 finger nub, felt more comfortable and easier to grasp. Mounted a flashlight/laser to the right side of my MOE forend and I can run the light, adjust the settings with my index finger with a slight adjustment to my hand. Needs to be a tad larger or I'd gave it five of five. CTD got it to me in three days again, "excellent!".

Bought this one since it
Bought this one since it a little bigger than the AFG2. Thought it would feel a bit more comfortable but it didn't. Even though this is bigger than the v2 version, still feels small for me. Still prefer a standard foregrip over this.

I've gotten into competit
I've gotten into competitive shooting as of late and this grip made a huge difference in acquisition and fatigue. It keeps your wrist at a much more natural angle with your elbow. You'll notice after long sessions at the range, plus you won't find yourself pushing the grip and thus throwing your shots off center. If your looking for a quality grip you can stop looking here.

This fit like a glove. This grip was so easy to put on both my AK and AR rails. I currently have it mounted on my AK and it doesn't get in the way of a reload. I am a large guy, so to me, it provides a good grip and is wide enough to be comfortable. I will be purchasing more soon.

It has a nice, sleek design that looks good on a gun. I wish it had a slightly more downward angle to it though. It might even be nicer if the downward slope continued on, and instead of being angled, the back part came straight down which would provide more angled real estate. I like it, but I think adjustable foregrips are more comfortable.

I ordered the AFG1 becaus
I ordered the AFG1 because it was a little larger than the AFG2. I bought it for my Mossberg 500c 20 gauge and it went on like a glove! Very comfortable to use on a pump action shotgun, both bringing the slide back and racking it forward. I will defiantly be purchasing another for my AR-15! And props to CTD for the fast delivery! Even shipped same night, received it in three days.

After shooting with the A
After shooting with the AFG more, it's great when shooting from the prone or kneeling, but when standing, it feels worthless. Today, I went through more than 200 rounds (would have done more but gun broke -.-) and the grip seems to be only useful when you can casually grab hold of it. I had this on my metal forearm rail, which had the other Magpul rail covers; the ones that snap together (I also recommend NOT TO BUY, as they barely snapped together and made it huge). The handguard was so large, my hand wasn't able to grasp it as the Magpul training videos say to. Now I have the Magpul MOE handguard, so maybe I will think about putting it on to test again, but I won't hold my breath. Overall, this was a great idea, but I just don't find it useful enough for the weight and awkward grip, especially since today had strong winds that made holding the barrel straight while standing very difficult and tiresome after an hour.

This grip works fine. At first, it felt weird holding it, but it really helps hold onto the barrel for better quick aiming and support during firing. Some people prefer the little vertical grips, but Magpul has explained how these can really be a beneficial grip.

I mounted this grip on my 870 and it is a very comfortable grip and good quality construction. The only 2 faults I have found were, number one the sides stuck up too high to clear my tri-rail mount so i had to dremel it down to fit, and number two the very front of it will bash your knuckles to death on a 12 gauge if you dont hold it exactly right. If not for those 2 things, it would have been 5 bullets. But overall I would highly recommend this product.

I put one of these on my 6.8 spc for hunting. I really feel that it doesn't have enough of an angle to get that true pull that you feel from a grip. I ended up taking it off and putting it on my dedicated 22 upper for plinking and 'wow' factor.

I had the Magpul vertical
I had the Magpul vertical foregrip on my rifle and I was shown a better way to hold my gun for more accurate shots and this angled grip makes shooting that way second nature. Highly recommended.

Overall this is a great grip.I first tried it out on my S&W M%P 15 and didnt like, but I gave it a second chance on my Bushmaster ACR. It works very well with the ACR. my hand naturally rests in position. It would get 5 bullets if you could adjust the angle of it, but other wise it is a great grip.

I got this for my S&W M&P 15-22 and fits a little loose, even after tighting the allen bolts. I do like it better than a VFG , fits my hand very well, realy high quality.

Another pretty sweet Magpul product. Mounted on my Saiga .308 Works just as it should. I do agree with the review below me, I with the hole shown was big enough for a thumb, but I'm not taking off any points because its not. All in all, great product.

Looks great and it great quality, but was hoping the hollow area would be big enough for me to stick my thumb through so it had more versatility in how it could be held, but it's much too small for that. After finding this out, I actually tossed it to the side, because it eliminated all of my lower rails, and wasn't any different than simply gripping right in front of the AR magazine well. Great item for some, perhaps, but not what I was looking for.

Ergonomics are great. It's just a very natural position to hold a rifle. Well made and looks good to boot. I like it a lot better than the vertical grip on my other rifle, may need to order another one.

This grip is truly a tact
This grip is truly a tactical force multiplier. Fits great on my S&W M&P15 and on my Bushmaster ACR, and provides excellent control of the rifle making follow up shots cake. I would recommend this grip to anyone who is a tactical shooter, and as always fast delivery from CTD.

I was excited to get this
I was excited to get this piece for my DPMS AR-15, and it's everything they say it is. The high quality you'd expect from Magpul, and a very innovative design. But, I was surprised to find that I didn't like as much as my cheap straight fore-grip. It's cool looking and ergonomic, but I just don't feel like I have the same control over the gun as I have with a standard fore-grip.

I love the feel of this on my 6.8 hunting set up but would not reccommend this for a tactical setup. I don't have abnormally large hands and this still seems just a bit small. I put it on my hunting AR and found it's true calling. Definitely ads much needed stability for quick realignment on the target. I reccommend this product.

My traditional AR-15 hand
My traditional AR-15 hand position was to grip the magwell when firing. For me this was problematic. When transitioning from target to target I would loose my sight picture fairly easily. With my new addition I feel more like I'm shooting any of my other long guns. Great product, great price, fast shipping.

I bought this for my wife
I bought this for my wife's AR. She doesn't like vertical fore grips but wanted something up front for a better control. This works great! Very sold grip and well made. Getting it on her AR was a bit tricky. It's made to slide on to the rail from the front. The problem is, it wouldn't slide past the sling mount on the gas block. (Granted, I have Surefire quad rails which have a very low profile) I actually had to pull the quad rail off the rifle, slide the Grip on, then re-install the quad rail. not a big deal, but added a little time to the install. Overall, a great grip.

Fantastic! Much better recoil control, I'm back on target fast and groupings have dramatically tightened up. It took a bit to get used to the fingers divide, but I have large hands so perhaps for the average Joe it falls into play just right.
