It comes with adjustable inner trays which offer two height positions for different cartridge lengths.

will my 308 or 30-30 fit snug or are they too short also my 30 carbine ammo?

Hi Morgan! MTM says this box fits wider (e.g. 500 S&W Mag) and longer (e.g. 458 Win Mag) cartridges than the 308 and 30-30. My inclination is to say it'll fit every round you named, though I've not personally tried to myself.
