How to calibrate?

Lyman does not list this information but in my experience to recalibrate a dial caliper you typically close the jaws, loosen the locking screw underneath the dial, rotate the now-loosened dial so that the pointer lines up directly with the "0" marking on the dial face, retighten, and then check for accuracy against a calibrated standard.
